With which forwarding agency or parcel service will the goods be delivered?

Due to the large dimensions and package weights, we deliver the V2A stainless steel products via a general cargo carrier. They will contact you by telephone before the goods are delivered in order to discuss the exact delivery modalities (date/time) in advance. The larch wood products are transported with the GLS parcel service. You will receive an email on the day of dispatch with the exact dispatch details including a link to track the status of the delivery. Deliveries are only made on working days, so there is no delivery on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. How long is the delivery time, I need the parts very urgently?

Accepted Answer

The current delivery time of our gymnastics bars can be found on the product page in the upper part. We produce almost all products on site under our own management. We therefore need the period of time specified there for the production and packaging of the individual components. In urgent emergencies, such as birthdays that are suddenly approaching ;-) there is usually always the option of bringing forward or speeding up a delivery. Please note your desired delivery date in the comment field (next to the address data). We will then contact you to confirm the appointment. Is it possible to collect the goods yourself?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect our products yourself for logistical reasons. If you need the goods a little faster than the delivery time specified in the shop, please let us know your desired delivery date when you place your online order (in the comments field or by email). We will then contact you and try to realize your desired date.

Is shipping to Switzerland and Liechtenstein possible?

Yes, we also deliver regularly to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The resulting fees for preparing the customs documents, import duties, etc. are included in the shipping costs and will be paid by us. The import sales tax for Switzerland is also paid by us, so you will not receive any further invoices from local customs authorities.

Doesn't the stainless steel get very hot in summer due to the sun's rays?

Fortunately, this fear is unfounded. Instead, the stainless steel reflects much of the sun's rays, leaving the poles and posts only lukewarm.

Can the device also be set up on a slope / on a mountain?

Yes, that's entirely possible. In this case, the posts pointing to the mountain must be concreted in a little deeper than the lower posts on the "valley side". Of course, this can reduce the usable height of the poles somewhat, which should be taken into account in advance when planning. As a rule of thumb, a gradient of more than approx. 12 cm per meter should not be exceeded. It is then possible to determine the heights of the system well. It is important that the system as a whole remains vertical and the gymnastics bars remain horizontal.

Can the bar also be used to attach a swing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can also hang a swing for smaller children on the rail; many customers do that. The easiest way to do this is simply loop the swing rope around the bar. Otherwise, due to the strong lateral forces, there is a risk that the foundations could loosen and the system could start to wobble.

Yes! We also have longer gymnastics bars in a reinforced design, ie higher wall thickness and double strap for fastening with four screws, in our program. Stainless steel gymnastics equipment with a maximum height of 240 cm: The bar can be adjusted to 25 heights in 9 cm increments, i.e. a height between 15 cm and 240 cm. Stainless steel gymnastics equipment with a special height of 300 cm: The bar can be adjusted to 30 heights in 9 cm increments, i.e. a height between 15 cm and 300 cm. In addition to normal gymnastics and strength exercises, sling trainers, inclined benches, gymnastic rings, etc. can also be used on the bar.

How is the gymnastics bar secured against twisting?

Accepted Answer

It is attached using two M12 screws that are screwed into the tube from both ends. A CNC-milled turned part is welded into the tube for this purpose, which has the M12 thread. The contact surface between the rotary part and the post has an additional increase in the frictional resistance between the two contact surfaces thanks to machine-applied knurling. This principle works very well and represents a good and stable connection of the gymnastics bar. Quick adjustment without tools: As a special option, we offer a quick adjustment. This consists of 2 M12 star grip screws each with a strong plastic handle. This allows you to loosen the gymnastics bar without tools and quickly adjust the height.

Can the gymnastics equipment be taken with you or dismantled if you move later?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a little effort it is quite possible. We recommend setting the posts in concrete in addition to a plastic tube, which you can later remove from the concrete foundation. You should then proceed in these steps: 1. You get a HT or KG plastic waste water pipe with a diameter of 150mm from the hardware store. You should get a piece of 60cm length per post or cut it off to fit. 2. Now dig out the foundations according to the assembly instructions to a depth of 30x30x60cm (alternatively drill with an earth auger) and insert the post into the plastic tube and into the foundation hole. 3. Now mix the mixture for the concrete foundation (available in sacks as a ready-mix at hardware stores) and fill it in between the post and the pipe as well as between the pipe and the ground. Then tamp it down well with a short wooden slat or similar so that no holes or cavities can form in the concrete. Advantage of this procedure: You can later dig up the post foundation again and knock off the outer concrete foundation from the HT pipe with a thick hammer and chisel. The post, including the inner foundation and HT tube, can then be concreted in again at a new location.

How should the V2A stainless steel material be cared for?

Basically, the entire system requires very little care and cleaning. For cleaning, you can use a commercially available stainless steel cleaner from the household sector (e.g. for extractor hoods). Attention: Please do not treat the system with steel wool or similar, the iron components contained in it would quickly lead to the formation of rust film.

If plug-in sleeves are not sufficient for fastening in the ground, why do the posts have to be cemented in?

Accepted Answer

Concreting the posts in the ground is absolutely necessary in order to achieve a permanently stable and secure attachment. We urgently advise against other methods, as they do not achieve permanent stability. Our attempts to use push-in sleeves have turned out to be useless. If the sleeves were too large, the posts were then too loose and not firmly anchored. If the dimensions of the plug-in sleeves were too narrow, there was the problem that dirt and earth quickly settled between the contact surfaces and it was therefore not possible or only possible with great effort to pull out the posts.

How do I achieve a vertical and parallel alignment of all components to each other?

Accepted Answer

The success of the correct installation is reflected in a 100% parallel and aligned alignment of the posts to one another while maintaining the required distance exactly. Only then is it possible to quickly and easily position the gymnastics bar at the desired height. So that you can achieve a perfect result, we will provide you with an alignment aid. This is a threaded rod with the dimensions M12 including nuts and washers. Before setting in concrete, you mount the threaded rod together with the gymnastics rod on each of the two posts and get a perfect end result that is accurate to the millimeter. Each delivery includes assembly instructions and a foundation plan. You need a spade, a spirit level, a mixing barrel for mixing the ready-mixed concrete and tools for fastening the screws.
